Rebecca Nash has been running a small school on a nobleman’s estate while hoping to uncover the mystery of her brother’s disappearance. She is shocked to learn that the nobleman has died and his heir is a distant relative from Cornwall, the devastatingly attractive Luke Trelawney. Trelawney at first plans to sell the estate but is drawn to the beautiful Rebecca and so continues to postpone his departure.
