The Ruin

John Sawney

earliest edition we have, 2013 Fireship Press, 2013

In the former Roman colony of Britannia, civilisation has all but disappeared. Eldol, a nobleman from the town of Glevum, saves the dictator Vortigern from an assassination attempt. The two go on the run into the barbarous west, where they are forced to look for shelter in a country that is falling apart around them.
